PUNTA GORDA — It happens all the time in baseball — a pitcher who has dominated leaves the game, giving the opposition a jolt of relief and confidence as they batter the relievers and rally to win.

That was the case for the Charlotte High School baseball team as it rallied from a 5-0 deficit for 10 runs in the sixth inning for a 10-5 win in the team’s season finale against Inspiration Academy of Bradenton.
