Blake Dean found himself standing in the rain at a club soccer tournament at Walt Disney World, watching his Chivas Futbol U-23 team from the sidelines and desperately waiting for his name to be called when he realized he wasn’t getting the opportunities he thought he deserved.

Dean was coming off a game-winning goal against Botafogo U-23 of Brazil earlier that day and he wanted another chance to shine. But the 17-year-old, playing with much older and bigger competition, never got to see the field that day.
