Pirates split with Mustangs

PORT CHARLOTTE — The Port Charlotte High School girls soccer team couldn’t have drawn a worse opponent on senior night. Meanwhile, the boys couldn’t have played on a better field.

The Mustang girls scored three goals in a six-minute span early in the first half and cruised to a 6-1 victory Tuesday night in a District 4A-11 match.
