Calling December and January a “winter” season in Southwest Florida is sometimes a stretch. However, a series of cold fronts has given residents and visitors to the county a glimpse of winter this week.
According to the National Weather Service, the cold temperatures will continue in Southwest Florida this week. A 40 to 50 percent chance of rain on Wednesday will usher in yet another cold front. The rain should clear up by the afternoon. High temperatures should run around the upper 50s to lower 60s. The low temperatures for Wednesday should be in the middle 40s.
