DeSoto County Project Graduation Committee held its annual celebration/benefit on Saturday (March 3) in the DCHS gym. A program promoted by the DrugFree DeSoto Coalition, the goal is to promote safe graduation through April, May and June. Project Graduation in DeSoto begins after May 25 commencement and includes a night of supervised games, music, food and prizes. The committee seeks donations to help make the event a success. 494-4133/ext. 214, 990-0213.
