After three years of patience, hard work and community support, DeSoto County Veterans Service Officer Lee Gallagher’s dream of bringing The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall to DeSoto is now a reality.

Gallagher, with the backing of county officials and financial support from individuals and businesses, has secured a contract to have the wall brought to the Turner Center grounds Dec. 4-8.
