MURDOCK — Marilyn Pazora and her retired husband live on a fixed income. So when their 2013 property tax bill arrived with an extra $700 fee — the first year’s assessment of a centralized sewer system coming to her Spring Lake neighborhood — she worried about the cost.
“The money is not there,” Pazora, who owns two adjacent lots, told Charlotte County commissioners Tuesday.
