Kevin Doyle was born in Dublin, Ireland. He moved to Punta Gorda a little over three decades ago after falling in love with the place while visiting his sister.

The 61-year-old opened the Celtic Ray in 1997 because he missed the pubs and fish and chips from back home, and the Irishman seems to have brought some luck from his homeland with him.
