CHARLOTTE — A trip to Miami over the weekend did wonders for Charlotte High School, which has a habit of losing one-run games.
None more so than Tarpons catcher Jessie Valerius, who went 3 for 4 with 5 RBIs, including the game-winning, two-run single in the bottom of the sixth. The Tarpons, who coughed up a 5-0 lead, rallied for a 7-6 win over Lemon Bay on Wednesday in a nondistrict game.
