SARASOTA — The Tampa Bay Rays have a lot of talented pitchers in their bullpen. At least that’s what manager Joe Maddon says after almost every spring training game. No matter the results on the field, he always seems to like what he sees out of his relievers.
Wednesday at Ed Smith Stadium was no different. Maddon said Mark Lowe was “really good,” Jake McGee “had really good stuff,” Steve Geltz was “very aggressive” and had “outstanding stuff,” Juan Sandoval was “impressive,” and Josh Lueke was “really sharp.”
