Sarasota seeks input on beach paddleboard vendors

The SUP Camp offers one-on-one instructions on paddleboards and kayaking with some time out for fishing. The camp goes on all summer, a week at a time, providing they have a minimum of five campers signed up
With all the interest in stand up paddleboarding, Sarasota County Parks and Recreation officials want to know what people think about allowing paddleboard vendors at public beaches. The proposition may be met with some local resistance.
In Englewood, the only Sarasota County public beaches are Blind Pass and Manasota Beach.
