On Aug. 12, 2004, Larry and Geri Green had dinner at Monty’s to celebrate Geri’s birthday; they were among the last customers in the old restaurant before Hurricane Charley destroyed it. They are thrilled to be among the first customers to dine in Old Monty’s Restaurant & Pizzeria's new building, located near the original location.

Old Monty’s Restaurant & Pizzeria had a soft opening in its new location on Nov. 27 for a select group of friends. The building is located in its original spot, 2510 S. Tamiami Trail.
