In case you haven’t noticed from the “Live Like a Tourist” columns I write, I love to be outdoors. And since we live in an area of the country that has a temperate climate almost year-round, there always seems to be an abundance of outside activities available.

If you can combine the outdoors with an educational experience, that’s a bonus.
