In my column last week, I emphasized that facet seven in Love’s diamond was “Love doesn’t demand its own way.” Above all else, Love seeks God’s best for others.
Love’s eighth facet isn’t irritated by things that often get under one’s skin. Fathers who integrate this aspect into the parenting process seldom provoke or discourage their children (see Colossians 3:21).
