Local restaurant raises money for Leadership Charlotte

Ruby Tuesday in the Port Charlotte Town Center mall recently raised $300 for the Leadership Charlotte class of 2014 by donating a portion of its proceeds, according to a release from Leadership Charlotte.

The money was raised as part of the restaurant chain’s Community GiveBack Program, in which Ruby Tuesday donates 20 percent of every bill accompanied by a GiveBack flier to the featured organization. More than $1,500 in sales were reported on the night of the GiveBack, making it one of the most successful GiveBack fundraisers in Charlotte County, according to the release.
