Area restaurants fight against cancer

A big well-done to the area restaurants that will be joining in the Stick a Fork in Cancer campaign. On July 8, they will donate 10 or 20 percent of sales to the American Cancer Society’s support programs and research initiatives, according to a release from the American Cancer Society.

According to the release, the restaurants are Charlotte Café Serenity in Englewood, Captain’s Table in Punta Gorda, Chick-fil-A in Port Charlotte, Culver’s in Port Charlotte, Dean’s South of the Border in Punta Gorda, Goal Post in Port Charlotte, Howard’s on the Water in Englewood, Hurricane Charley’s in Punta Gorda, John Ski’s House of Breakfast and Lunch in Punta Gorda, Maria Restaurant in Englewood, Nav-A-Gator in Lake Suzy, Pressellers in Punta Gorda, Sam’s Subs and Soup in Port Charlotte and Whiskey Creek Grill in Port Charlotte.
