Lucky me. Reading is a hobby and a business. Most days, reading the paper means a look at four or five newspapers — not reading everything, but skimming the headlines and digesting stories here and there. There are similarities in coverage and some uncommon differences.
In addition to our own daily and weekly papers, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune and Tampa Tribune are scanned to be sure we are keeping pace with the competition. Most days, two national papers, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, get a fairly thorough look.
