NORTH PORT — New concepts for mental health treatment made their way to commission chambers during Tuesday’s North Port City Commission meeting. The City Commission reviewed a few projects at a special meeting Tuesday afternoon, which is typically held on the first Thursday of every month.
Ryan Schell, a Venice resident, presented a need for a “high-functioning adult drop-in” center within the city. He was encouraged to give the presentation after a conversation with Commissioner Debbie McDowell.
