Venice song-and-dance man Eric Watters has raised holiday spirits for 15 years by going from “Humbug!” to happiness as Ebenezer Scrooge in the annual Venice Theatre production of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.”

But Watters’ tenure as Scrooge will end with the final performance of this year’s run — his 16th — on Dec. 21. The announcement was made late Friday.
