More parking coming to Bayshore

CHARLOTTE HARBOR — With a watchful eye, Yenni Guerra followed her three young children as they climbed up, down and over the Cracker cow, the fishing boat and a huge tree fashioned at the newly renovated Bayshore Live Oak Park playground.

Guerra made sure to help the littlest, 5-year-old Kassandra, navigate the many steps. But she wasn’t too worried about anyone falling down because of the rubber impact surface covering the ground. Besides, they are all regular visitors, and are pretty familiar with the playground and its challenges.
