Air show tour takes wing

PUNTA GORDA — Three of the most popular aircraft of World War II will be making their appearance at the Punta Gorda Airport next week on the annual Wings of Freedom Tour.

The event is made possible by the Massachusetts-based Collings Foundation, a nonprofit group that is dedicated to the public display and preservation of antique automobiles and aircraft.
