Get ready for a dizzying array of fun, like these adventurers experienced last year, when the Charlotte County Fair returns Friday. In fact, you can ride all rides from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. that night — opening night — for $20, admission included.
The Charlotte County Fair, for the first time, will present the Great American Frontier Show, which brings back the entire cast of characters from the Wild West, including horses, buffalo and longhorn steers.
The Tricky Dogs Show is another first-time feature at the Charlotte County Fair, which runs from Friday through Feb. 9.
PORT CHARLOTTE — The 26th Annual Charlotte County Fair, known for its old-fashioned flair, is riding into town this weekend with several new shows, plus a first-time Free Admission Day.
“A lot of the same people come year after year,” said Kam Mahshie, general manager of the hosting Charlotte County Fairgrounds, 2333 El Jobean Road. “This year it’s going to be a little different.”
