Students hope to ride robot to top

PUNTA GORDA — Chris George and his Charlotte High School robotics team are used to being underdogs.

They were underdogs when they competed in the state tournament Feb. 1 at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, as well as at the super- regional high school robotics tournament at the end of February in San Antonio, Texas.
