Marsh Madness held at Charlotte Harbor Preserve

PUNTA GORDA — Devon Bluse doesn’t believe she would have ever visited the Charlotte Harbor Preserve State Park if not for a 5K race held there Sunday.

The 27-year-old Nokomis resident traveled to the park early Sunday morning to participate in Marsh Madness, a 5K race held to promote some of the under-utilized state parks throughout Southwest Florida.
