MURDOCK — The legislative lobbyist for the Charlotte County School Board informed members Tuesday that a state bill that would allow specified individuals to carry a concealed weapon into schools continues to gain traction in the Legislature.

Vern Crawford gave board members an update on numerous bills dealing with education currently before the Legislature.
