Hundreds attend annual outdoor service

PUNTA GORDA —The sounds of praise blended with the noises of nature as the sun rose over Ponce de Leon Park Easter Morning.

The Knights of Columbus Ponce de Leon Council 8074 organized the sunrise service at the park for the 39th year, and as usual the weather cooperated. The sun rose over a partly cloudy sky and a cool breeze blew across Charlotte Harbor.
