PUNTA GORDA — After years of trying to get financial assistance to build affordable senior housing, the Punta Gorda Housing Authority is receiving tax credits that will allow the 60-unit project to move forward.
“It’s fantastic news,” said Loraine Helber, PGHA executive director. “We’ve completed so many applications since 2008, we can’t even count them.”
