The Starbucks in the Murdock Target will remain closed while a boil-water notice is in effect, according to a Target staff member. The notice is due to a nearby water main breaking Tuesday.

MURDOCK — When Hurricane Charley rocked the area a decade ago, Rony Charles remembers the storm’s effects. Aside from the physical damage, streets were flooded, and some people were left without clean water.

So, Charles was unfazed when an old water main broke early Tuesday near the Burger King he manages and left the fast-food joint without clean water for at least a couple of days.
