PUNTA GORDA — At Wednesday’s Business Over Breakfast, sponsored by the Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce, insurance representative Ralph Temple is doing his homework for the upcoming election. With the networking event at the Village Fish Market bringing in candidates for all the local races — County Commission, Airport Authority, School Board and circuit judgeships — Temple shows a particular interest in the County Commission contests because, in his view, that’s where the big issues are decided.
“It’s the only game in town. When it comes to the county, it starts and stops there,” he said.
