CHARLOTTE COUNTY — In the heady moments after a jury issued a favorable judgment for damages in the Rotonda II sewer case, county attorneys stood on the steps outside the Charlotte County Justice Center, confidently talking about going back and appealing the original liability verdict. With a mix of swagger and defiance, forged over decades in the crucible of the courtroom, attorney for the county W. Cort Frohlich said it was one of the most satisfying victories in his career, and he wanted more.
“We’re not finished,” he vowed.
