NORTH PORT — Authorities removed 25 dogs — mostly Weimaraners — from a home Friday morning on the 6600 block of Kenwood Avenue, after Sarasota County Sheriff’s deputies served the tenants with an eviction notice.

Most of the dogs were adult Weimaraners and Weimaraner puppies, although authorities did remove one poodle mix from the house. All dogs were in good health and generally had been taken care of, authorities noted.
