PORT CHARLOTTE — The Cultural Center of Charlotte County board of trustees on Thursday elected new leadership for the longtime community hub.

By a unanimous vote, current board president K. Stephen Carter was tabbed to lead the organization as executive director. In addition, trustee Wayne Goff was given a one-year term as board president. The change in leadership will take effect Monday.
