Ruby L. Bandy, 70, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, at Peace River Regional Medical Center in Port Charlotte.
She was born March 18, 1943, in Suffolk, Va., and moved to Port Charlotte six years ago from LaFayette, Ga.
Ruby was a retired cosmetologist. She and her husband traveled to different states via motor home enjoying the beauty of nature and what life had to offer. Ruby was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, of 49 years, Roger; a daughter, Tina Lee (Greg) Bandy-Lovern of LaFayette, Ga.; a son, Michael H. Bandy of Port Charlotte; a sister, Sudie (Bob) Brinn-Early of Virginia; two brothers, Otis “Buddy” (Brenda) Brinn, Jr. of Virginia, and David S. (Laura) Brinn of Arizona; a brother-in-law, Conrad A. Seymour of North Carolina; five grandchildren, Cori, Christopher, Nicholas, Shelby, and Morgan; three great-grandchildren, Van, Wyatt, and Skyler; and numerous nieces and nephews, including, Connie (Bob) Seymour-Cummings. Ruby was preceded in death by her loving sister, Ann Brinn-Seymour.
No services are scheduled at this time.
