Teresa Ann (nee Lolley) Morton, 50, of Lufkin, Texas, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014, at her residence in Lufkin.
She was born Nov. 26, 1963, in Glendale, Calif.
Teresa was involved with the Journey Group at Huntington First Baptist Church and was very involved with the Huntington School District. She was a foster parent for nine years and dedicated her life to her children and foster children.
Teresa is survived by her husband, James Morton; children, Bryan Pyle, John David (Courtney) Pyle, Clayton Morton, Lauren Morton, Kayla Morton, James (Michelle) Kubiak, Terry Morton, Michelle Rogers and Scott Morton; grandchildren, Tyler Pyle, Austin Pyle, Alysa Pyle, Casey Morton, Kaleigh Kubiak, Korey Kubiak and Trinton Pyle; father, William Lolley; mother and step-father, Jeanette (John) Brittain; mother, Linda Quezada; brother-in-law, Jerry (Darlene) Morton; sister-in-law, Glenda (Brennen) Coaliron; sister, Sue Ann (John) West; sisters, Leslie Lolley and Elizabeth McLeod; brothers, Micheal Shepherd, Calup Shepherd and Timothy Shepherd; special friend, Sam Kimmey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services for will be held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, March 18, 2014, in the Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Blue Springs Cemetery in Etoile. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Weatherford, Blake Coaliron, Brennen Coaliron, Scott Carrell, James Kubiak and Scott Morton.
