Barbara Jean Krumeich

Barbara Jean Krumeich, 73, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Monday, April 14, 2014.

She was born Oct. 28, 1940, in Joliet, Ill.

Barbara had a passion for fishing. Her husband Norman said Barbara caught one of the biggest Muskie he had ever seen. It weighed 25 pounds, and she caught it with a 6-pound test line.

Barbara Jean and Norman owned a commercial fishing boat in Big Pine Key, Fla., from 1989 to 2001. They moved to Port Charlotte in 2001.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Norman A. Krumeich; daughters, Kathy Lobish of Port Charlotte, Sandra Fryfogle of Conroe, Texas, and Patricia (Mike) Langan of Keansburg, N.J.; and three grandchildren, Michael, James and Jake.

Arrangements are by National Cremation Society of Port Charlotte.
