William A. Jasper

William A. Jasper, 68, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014.

He was born Dec. 29, 1945, in St. Louis, Mo., and moved to this area in 2002 from St. Louis.

Mr. Jasper was the owner of Baby Barriers in Punta Gorda. He was a Mason, a Shriner, a member of the Veteran Motor Car Club, and he enjoyed boating, the St. Louis Cardinals and Florida Collegiate Sports. Mr. Jasper was also a member of Burnt Store Presbyterian Church in Punta Gorda. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanne; son, Jerrad of Orlando, Fla.; brother, Robert Jasper of Chesterfield, Mo.; and grandchildren, Cole and Austin.

Services will be held at a later date in St. Louis. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4574 Via Royale, Suite 110, Fort Myers, FL 33919.
