Report: Employee steals, sells construction materials

PORT CHARLOTTE — A local man has been accused of stealing over $2,500 worth of copper, steel and brass from a cable construction company he works for and then selling it, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.

Todd Gregory Anderson II, 32, of the 19500 block of Kapok Court, was arrested Friday and charged with four counts of grand theft, and six counts each of dealing in stolen property and giving false information to a metal recycler.
