PORT CHARLOTTE — The three young teens arrested early Saturday for breaking into the Ice Cream Palace — just off County Road 776, west of the Myakka River in the Gulf Cove area — were also involved in a string of car burglaries, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.

A 14-year-old boy and two 15-year-old boys — all of the same Longwood Avenue address in Port Charlotte — were arrested Saturday and are facing myriad burglary and theft charges — including armed burglary.
