PORT CHARLOTTE — Authorities arrested two gas station employees Tuesday after finding synthetic marijuana and drug money at their place of work, according to a Charlotte County Sheriff’s report.

Members of the Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant around 10 a.m. at the Chevron gas station at 4048 El Jobean Road, about four hours after a clerk — Radhakrishna Sureddy, 40, of the 2000 block of Sadnet Lane, North Port — sold synthetic marijuana to a confidential informant, according to the report. Authorities seized nine packets of synthetic marijuana (a total of 60 grams), $50 that had been exchanged during the earlier drug deal, and about $3,500 in other cash.
