PORT CHARLOTTE — Northeastern pitcher Chris Carmain had another strong outing at the Snowbird Baseball Classic on Saturday, allowing just two earned runs in seven innings, but Presbyterian scored two unearned runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to secure a 4-3 win.
Presbyterian leadoff hitter Tyler Weyenberg had three hits for the Blue Hose in the first game of their doubleheader. Bennett Nalley picked up the win after allowing just one run on two hits in 22⁄3 innings.
