PORT CHARLOTTE — The Port Charlotte High School boys and girls tennis teams got a tuneup for next week’s District 3A-11 tournament Wednesday against visiting Ida Baker.

The results were mixed in a match that lasted almost five hours. The Pirate girls raised their record to 5-4 with a tight 4-3 victory over the visitors. But the boys lost to Ida Baker 7-0 despite three matches going three sets.
