Ogilvie earns a last chance

ENGLEWOOD — For someone who had always wanted to compete at the FHSAA finals in an individual event, Sydni Ogilvie never really knew the loneliness of the long distance runner. For the Lemon Bay High School senior, there was always someone there.

As a junior last year, Ogilvie missed in qualifying for the 3,200 meters, placing fifth at regionals — her first season running high school track’s longest event.
