LP police seek tips on hit-and-run

LAKE PLACID — Lake Placid police were seeking information on a hit-and-run driver who reportedly struck a 15-year-old at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday in the vicinity of North Main Street and Interlake Boulevard, in the service alley just west of the intersection.

The driver was described as a Hispanic woman who was driving a black SUV, said Lt. Mark Schneider. As of press time Tuesday, authorities were still seeking the driver.
