In my column last week, I wrote about the problems with young people. I was inspired by a conversation I overheard at the table next to me with some older men in a McDonald’s. They were having a very long morning cup of coffee together. These aging boomers were enjoying listing all the problems with “today’s young people.”
In my column, I listed the kinds of problems they were moaning about — but twisted the words just slightly. I then applied those same criticisms to survivors of the hippy generation who are now today’s solid citizen boomers.
