Dungeons and Dragons (DnD) is a game that originated in the‘70s, but in the last few months it has gone through a massive resurgence, gaining popularity throughout the younger demographics. There are online DnD groups you can join and articles written in magazines such as the New Yorker that you can read. The recent increase in players could have something to do with the personalities of those who play.

Dungeons and Dragons is a game that lends itself to introverts. It does not take much physical skill, so performance anxiety is not something to worry about. The most important element of the game is a creative thought process and the idea to visualize things that may be communicated only verbally.
