Talking to high school defensive safety football player, Philip Hamilton, in Sebring, I wanted to know how he learns to “concentrate” when playing his position.
The first step he uses is visualizing “the play” before it happens. After watching films of an opposing team, he concentrates on observing the receiver’s “route-running” as the runner attempts to catch the ball in play.
