SEBRING — If Highlands County Commissioners agree to a proposed loan agreement, they could potentially add up to $8 million in debt to cover hurricane recovery.
That’s the proposal on this week’s agenda for the Highlands County Board of County Commission, when it holds its regular meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday at 600 S. Commerce Ave. in Sebring. It’s the main action item on the agenda and one that Commissioners have discussed — and winced over — for the last couple of months.
