Refurbished and reclothed dolls make wonderful gifts

Margaret Hawley is surrounded by dolls in her "doll room" that she has cleaned up and created wardrobes for. She hand sews outfits for each one and makes decorative shoe boxes for their beds.

These cute kids were rescued and refurbished by Margaret Hawley in her Sebring home. Dolls similar to these were given away during Christmas to kids in need.

These cute twins will find their way into a little girl's arms courtesy of Margaret Hawley who cleans and clothes them and gives them away.

SEBRING — Margaret Hawley has turned an accidental hobby into a passionate ministry. Hawley began sewing dresses for dolls to give away several years ago.

It all started when a trip to her local thrift store ended with a treasure in the form of a beautiful doll that was a whopping 50 cents. This was the beginning of a calling.
