Belva “Carolyn” Crider of Lake Placid went to be with the Lord on Nov. 17, 2017 to join her loving husband, Bob. Carolyn was born on March 31, 1935 in Miami to Albert and Belva Saunders. After spending many years vacationing with her family in Lake Placid, they decided to move to Lake Placid and make it their home town for over 30 years. Carolyn attended Miami Edison Senior High School where she was an honored member of the Cadets and the National Honor Society, graduating in 1953. Her hobbies included gardening, rock painting, fishing from her dock on Lake Grassy, and playing cards with her friends. She started teaching line dancing years ago and then on to just dancing and clogging with the ladies. She was also an active member in Sun N’ Lakes associations and affairs.

Carolyn is survived by her loving daughters, Cynthia Ann and Linda Belva; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Randal, Austin, Taylor, and Dylan; sister, Barbara Jean and Albert Charles Jr.

A service to celebrate Carolyn’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25 at Community Church of God, 735 S. Sun N’ Lakes Blvd., Lake Placid. Pastor Joe DeHart will celebrate. Memorial arrangements are under the loving devotion of Michael A. Brochetti Funeral Home, Lake Placid. 863-465-9997
