Pauline C. Hutchins, 90, of Sebring passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017 at Somers Hospice House. She was born Dec. 2, 1926 in Burlington, Vermont to Paul F and Mildred M. (St. Peter) Breen. Pauline was a retired elementary school teacher from Hollywood, Florida and has lived in Sebring for the past 50 years. After retirement she worked in her son Phillip’s carpet business, Adventure’s Carpeting, for a dozen years. She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church, devout in her strong faith and her love of her family. She will be dearly missed and her family will be lonely without her strength, love and guidance.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold E Hutchins; sons, Randall P Hutchins, Mark B Hutchins, and David A Hutchins; brother, Richard Breen and sister, Beverly Luneau. She is survived by her daughter, Shelley A. Retterer of Sebring; sons, Chris Hutchins of Hollywood, Florida, Scott Hutchins of Lake Placid, and Phillip Hutchins of Sebring; two adopted children, Danny Casey and Joy Lounders; sister, Phyllis Breen of Sebring; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Placid at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017. Arrangements are under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home, 2605 Bayview St., Sebring, FL 33870. 863-385-1546
